I'm also potentially available then, though 10 AM in Cambridge is a stretch. Will there be a Skype chat?
You don't have to be there at 10, though. It's all on a drop-in basis. I said 10 to 1 because they probably want the table for lunch by 1, but I'm free to spin the thing out if lunch is wanted by others.
Skype is possible in theory but I wouldn't count absolutely either on the wifi or on the extended interest.
I think I may spend time hacking out the basic training "syllabus", which is one item high up the agenda, and this is a thing worth discussing collectively in early drafts. There is also a "single-sign on" issue for which I have a new clue today; and we can hash out "training for trainers" and implications.
It would be good to have anyone who finds the general area interesting contributing. There was a big emphasis at Wikimania on support for newbies, in particular, and Peter Coombe gave a presentation on his fellowship work on the enWP help pages. What is proposed for online modules should work hand-in-glove with that whole effort, and it is more a question of getting to the detail than justifying what I'm up to. I'm hoping a consistent WMUK approach will emerge.
If anyone really needs Skype presence, mail me Friday and I'll let you know my Skype contact. Clueful people coming along with laptops would definitely be an asset. I'll be bringing A4 and a pen ...
Charles
I'll be there, with laptop. Will have to leave fairly promptly at 1 though.

Very constructive discussion with Peter Coombe and David Palfrey (Dsp13). Could go a bit further with the OTRS topic list from Richard. Charles

Excellent. Should be a quorum, which I'm saying is three, at least.

Sorry, something has come up and I won't be able to join you this time.
But I would like to talk about some training I delivered - if Leutha joins you he can tell you how the first session went. Any chance you can join us at the next London meetup?

At least a chance. (I know I should put a smiley, but I don't do emoticons.)
Charles
Excellent, and glad to see you might join us as well. :)
