We are keen to appoint a couple of new members to our Community Development Committee, which is a sub-committee of the Board of Trustees. These are non trustee places but with full voting rights on the committee.

We're keen to hear from people who fulfil one or more of the following criteria:

- An active member of Wikimedia UK’s volunteer community - Experience in community organising and/or volunteer management - Experience of engaging with the Wikimedia projects as a member of any community which is underrepresented on those projects

*The closing date is Friday 9th February and all that is required is a short expression of interest.*

It's worth noting that whilst there is no expectation that people who serve on sub-committees in this capacity would ever become board members, for someone interested in governance (as well as community issues) this could be a possible stepping stone to a trustee role in future.
