Someone had some clever acronym based name for us last month, I can't remember what it was though. I suggested "WAG" for Wikipedia Advocacy Group, but "wag" perhaps has unfortunate connotations these days.
Anyway, all suggestions are appreciated.

The suggestion was WIN - Wiki Information Network.

Wiki Information Network (WIN) was the name discussed. Keep "Wikipedia" out of it, we'll trade under Wikimedia UK once we have a trademark agreement, but before that we should avoid the trademarks, I think.
Is there a reason why we couldn't go for something simple like "Wiki" (there was a Wiki Limited, but they're dissoved), or something like "WikiNet"?

Or "Wiki UK"?

That would be ok. Just so you know, "UK" is fine but "United Kingdom" (and similarly, "Britain" or "British") requires permission to be used in a business name. I expect we could get that permission, but it's an extra hoop to jump through.

We like cool acronyms. Other than that, no!
Acronyms are nice, but TMACCC.* Plus, they aren't easy google-able. I like "Wiki UK".
BTW, is there a story behind the disolved "Wikimedia Ltd" company that anyone knows?

Remember, we'll actually be trading under "Wikimedia UK", that's a requirement from WMF, so the name doesn't really matter.

I didn't know there was one... interesting...
