I hope you don't think this is too off-topic, but Wiki Project Med is applying to
become a Thematic Organisation, the subject-specific equivalent of a Chapter, but based on
a thematic area, rather than a geographic one. WPMEDF has been in existence for 6 years,
and has cooperated with WMUK since it started. It became a User Group in 2014 and is now
seeking the achieve the next step as a recognised Thematic Organisation for medicine
globally throughout the Wikimedia movement.
If you would support the idea, then perhaps you would be kind enough to indicate that at
