Well, I'd like to think that the Board will ensure at least one (ideally all) of them attend Wikimania when it's on the same continent! :-)
As to being an observer, happy to help out, but I'm not sure how useful it will be when I'm not read into the situation too well. We'll see!

I agree. Not getting anyone to South America in our first year of existence is unfortunate but entirely understandable. Not getting anyone to the other side of our own continent after we've done some major fundraising would be inexcusable, IMO.
