If you're not already aware, the New York City chapter is organising a "special pre-Wikimania weekend in New York City":

The weekend before Wikimania (ie. Friday 6 July to Monday 9 July), there will be lots of events in NYC, followed by a coach to Washington DC on the Monday, ready for the hacking days, etc., which start on the Tuesday.
I'm going to be going (having looked at flights, it seems that a return from London to NYC is significantly cheaper than from London to DC, and you get to visit two US cities). They are going to be finalising the list for the coach soon (there are limited seats), so sign up on that page if you want to come.
Part of the weekend will be a "Wiki World's Fair":

I've been asked to see if we can set up a UK booth. Are any WMUK trustees or staff thinking of going that would like to run a UK booth? If not, are there any random UK Wikimedians that would like to help me run a booth? Would anyone like to produce some posters for the booth? Can the office provide a box of stuff to give away to people (both useful brochures and leaflets, and fun stuff)?
