I click on links at...

and I get some odd behaviour?
Can anybody confirm this?
And fix it?

This template is for use in infoboxes. It links to property P856 (official website) at Wikidata to retrieve the website and displays in the same way as {{URL}}.

There has been some discussion on Facebook (and elsewhere?) about the current trend to feed data from Wikidata directly in Wikipedia's Infoboxen.
https://www.facebook.com/groups/WikidataCommunity/
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Infobox_person/Wikidata
Usage:
{{infobox person/Wikidata | fetchwikidata=ALL}}
I have suggested on Facebook that this might be putting a Infobox editing beyond the reach of certain people, like me. I have yet to start editing Wikidata.

If you can figure out how to edit infoboxes at the moment, with all of the wikicode that's needed, then you'll find editing them through Wikidata a bit simpler. ;-) In the long run, hopefully Wikidata editing can be done directly from Wikipedia.
But for my canonical example of a Wikidata infobox: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Pole_Telescope Have a look at how the data is stored at: https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q1513315 Hopefully you'll agree it's clearer than wikicode, and the way to edit the info is a bit clearer.
Thanks, Mike

Good work with the person infobox.

We have the new Template:Infobox_person/Wikidata on around 150 articles on cywiki, which was added a few days agor. See:
https://cy.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aldous_Huxley
and it works a treat; Mike Peel helped us a few weeks ago. Thanks Mike! Mike's South Pole Telescope was our first, which we copied on cywiki following last year's AGM at Birmingham.
The automatic taxo box is also on all 10,000 living bird articles and another 7,000 on female biogs, thanks to our wiki group at my home town of Ruthin. Altogether there are 17,000 articles taking live feed from Wikidata. And then of course we have Wikidata Lists (kept up to date using Lysteria) in mainspace articles...
