Thanks Gary. Unfortunately, I won't realistically be able to do anything substantial until late January, at which stage it's pretty late to get anything together this end. However, sign me up for whatever UK proposal we agree on, and keep us (ie this list) posted. :-)

We have finally formalized the dates for bidding for Wikimania 2009. Bidding officially runs from December 15 to February 3, allowing the prospective bidders a much longer period of time in which to present and polish their bids for Wikimania 2009.
The jury will be announced on January 12.
