There's 2087 entries on Wikidata for people who died in 1945 and have an occupation which is some kind of 'creator' (though due to a quirk of the Wikidata hierarchy, that seems to include scientists + engineers)

I would be interested to know if anyone else is interested in working on this and perhaps organising something for Public Domain Day, or perhaps an event later in January when people have recovered from the holiday.
