I'll happily risk being the one in the corner no-one listens to here and state that, in my opinion at least, it sounds like a fairly cheesy idea and a waste of money.

It has been suggested that the Wikimedia Foundation should contact the authorities of the Jordanhill railway station to request and/or offer to place a plaque at the station, in commemoration of the millionth English language Wikipedia article.
However, it might be better for the Wikimedia UK chapter to handle this than the Foundation. Any opinions?
If it was the Foundation, then it would likely fall under the remit of the newly created Special Projects Committee.
