Is junketing in the remit of the organisation - I hope not.
If he pays for it himself - what would our representative do - that a normal member wouldn't do? Why does he need to have added status above a normal member - he's not there for any official purpose.
Let's not give you titles and prestige above everyone else - it's not as if any of you were elected by anyone or anything.
