Wikinews coverage of Strasbourg EU Parliament visit

For those who might not track Wikinews, or follow it on Facebook, here's my report from the visit to the EU parliament.... https://en.wikinews.org/wiki/Wiki_loves_the_European_Parliament_in_Strasbou… Thankfully the hoo-haw about France's lack of FoP was resolved with a permissions email to OTRS from someone in the Parliament. I'll be looking to do more video-based reporting over the next couple of months, but I think the new 'pop-out' method of displaying video is hideous. A result of NIH syndrome, methinks? All, I feel obliged to inform you - as if you didn't already know - that weather conditions in the UK are deteriorating rapidly. If you are in North Wales or North West England, there is a red warning for strong winds from the met office, in this case winds of 70-80 mph - there may well be debris coming through the air! Be careful if you're out doing activities, and check http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/ for the latest advice. West Midlands Police Museum editathon

I have organised an editathon, in conjunction with the West Midlands Police, at the West Midlands Police Museum in Birmingham, on 15 March. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:GLAM/WM_Police_Museum It's a small venue, not usually open to the public, with a very interesting collection of objects and archives. Expense Claims

All, Our Financial year has just ended (or begun?), so I'd appreciate it if any outstanding expenses that date from before 31 January get to me before 10 February - ie, by the beginning of next week. You can use the expense claim for at https://wikimedia.org.uk/wiki/Expenses_claim_form to make the claim, then either email it directly to me (with scans of the receipts), or put the whole lot in an envelope to 'FREEPOST WIKIPEDIA'.
