FESTIVAL

The Chale Wote Street Art Festival is back again this year on the 23rd and
24th of August.
This year's edition seeks to explore the history of Accra, the city,
through its origins in James Town and an examination of this place in
relation to death and rebirth. The theme for this year's festival is Death:
An Eternal Dream Into Limitless Rebirth. There will be art exhibitions that
remodel our perceptions and interactions with design in public spaces, as
well as other attractions.
If you are interested in supporting the artists and manning work stations
as a volunteer during the festival, kindly contact volunteer(a)ghanathink.org
Cheers,
Gerald

On our blog/site I have created a page for announcements.
Find the page here
<http://planningwikimediaghana.blogspot.co.uk/p/community-announcement.html>.
Check it regularly as a noticeboard.
I have put two notices there already. If you have comments or questions
about any of the announcements, leave them as blog comments there. Unless
it's a sensitive issue.You be the judge.
Please if you have announcements with details that members *need to
remember*, gain access to the blog and share it there to serve as a
reminder.
Regards,
Sandister Tei

I'll leave London and this evening somewhere 1800.
I'm glad sandister and sadat did a good job volunteering. You see sandister
and sadat coordinating a presentation, its professional like a pilot in the
cockpit: very alert and steady.
I spent much time at our booth and many came around to talk.
Overall, I'm happy. The conference went on nice.
See you guys in October

Guys I made a request to get a setup for a meting with Adele at the Thistle Saturday morning but its just too expensive, 200GBP for 30 minutes. We've got to think of something/somewhere else.

Senor Sadat, considering the personality you are dealing with, I think a quiet private restaurant will be a better place. Personally, I think you will be granted the interview whether there is money or not. I suggest you also consult a local map of the town and get better options. You are the African. Who wouldn't want to meet the African?
Good luck!!

How many of you are retweeting or sharing anything about Wikimania on your
social nets. Should I have to send an email to you Felix and Enock, and
even Oral (PR) to get you doing anything on our Twitter of fb?

Guys,
kindly share what you are up to at the village with our followers and
members on m. list. We are here to assist WM UK but we have a
responsibility to WM GH and those we are trying to reach as well.
Times like these can be leveraged on to get contributors. I don't have to
tell you :|
