I am happy that at least some of you showed up for the editing training. Please start editing real articles now but ALWAYS use "show preview" first before saving a page. For more complex stuff, use your sandbox.
New users please note that from today the 24th to February 24th you should have at least a 100 edits on Wikipedia. Ghanaian articles need our help and Planning Wikimedia Ghana should be at the forefront of this.
I am also happy to announce that Sarkodie's management is willing to collaborate on our Azonto article. I am contacting Gasmilla/llian next. Without the permission of these people, the article won't have the necessary multimedia content. The elections 2012 article suffered greatly because we couldn't even get free images of our own presidential candidates to add to the text.
Any comments and contributions are welcome.
Wikimedia outreach in Ghana is ongoing. Anyone in Accra/Tema to join in the trainings?

Hello guys,
Everyday I see efforts of Ghanaians online especially those in the Barcamp- Blogging Ghana-PWMGH circles. Digital media agencies are springing up, journalism is growing online, tech hubs, startups, other events all concerning digital/online media etc are all making progress. The use of social media in our elections was notable as well. There is an existing and thriving network of of techies in Ghana and these are all things you know of already.
I think it's about time that a Wikipedia article on Digital/ Online Media in Ghana is created and maintained. Notable orgs., people, groups, projects and events all need to be archived on the wiki in that article. It will serve as a "one-stop" article that will include links to all the amazing work being done here.
Anyone interested in collaborating on this piece should let me know. If a meet up is necessary, we will have one.
Tech is now notable here and all notable phenomena usually have a page on Wikipedia that researchers can refer to. Let's collaborate on one for digital media in Ghana.
Regards,

Hello everyone
WLM 2012 was successful for Ghana though it was our first time, thanks to
the support we had from other organized chapters.
This year, the same event will take place. 2013 WLM in Ghana. Do Ghana
still have enough monuments to display this year? Will you be available to
provide support in its preparation and running?

A few days ago, i had the chance to meet some students of Koforidua Senior
High Technical School.
Even though a little training session (in size) using the newly acquired
Samsung 10.1, it turned out fruitful and worth it.
I wish to use this platform to also invite all of you who joined our
