Hello all,
This year, I spent majority of my months in Cape Town as a Wikipedian in
Residence for the arts and cultural organization that runs the WikiAfrica
Project, the Africa Centre. [1] Its was great working with the team at
Africa Centre, and with Isla Haddow-Flood, my supervisor.
See an update of the work that was accomplished via the WikiAfrica Project.

See this short video about the museum we took the highest number of
pictures from.

We hope more content will be generated from Africa onto Wikipedia for use
in education and research in 2015.
Happy holidays and enjoy the next year.

Hello Wikimedians, this is a great opportunity for high school students in
Ghana. And for you if you want to mentor.
Ahaspora Young Professions Ghana <https://www.facebook.com/ahaspora?fref=ts> in
collaboration with GhanaThink Foundation’s Junior Camp Ghana
<https://www.facebook.com/JuniorCampGhana?ref=hl> Program
presents Junior Camp Ahaspora on 29th December 2014 at the University of
Ghana, Legon.
Junior Camp Ahaspora just like all Junior Camp related activities is a
career guidance and counseling program for Senior High School students in
Ghana- where Senior High School students are connected to industry players
from various fields. The unique thing about this event is that mentees get
paired up with mentors for a year. This is the second edition of the
mentoring event with Ahaspora.
Patrick Awuah, Founder of Ashesi University, will be the keynote speaker.
Various confirmed mentors for the event are M.anifest, E.A Gamor (YouTube &
Mpwr Show), Freda Obeng (Ahaspora), Christabel Dadzie (Ahaspora), Rita Kusi
(Kusi Consulting), Jemila Abdulai (Circumspecte), Ato Ulzen Appiah
(GhanaThink Foundation), etc.
If you are interested in joining our pool of mentors, please sign up via
bit.ly/JcAhasporamentors.
Kindly share this event with all Senior High School students within your
circles, they must sign up to attend as mentees via bit.ly/JcAhasporamentees.
The deadline is this Thursday.
This will be the 20th Junior Camp event so far. Follow the hashtag
#JcAhaspora, Ahaspora & Junior Camp Ghana on social media for more updates.

Hello everyone,
The final version of the Wikimania Documentary can be found on YouTube.
Will push to Commons by end of this week as it requires a bit of alteration
to make it fully Wikimedia Commons License compliant.
Wikimania 2014 Documentary: http:// <http://youtu.be/1444m7vhhFo>youtu.be
<http://youtu.be/1444m7vhhFo>/1444m7vhhFo <http://youtu.be/1444m7vhhFo>
Interviews taken at the conference will be released to public soon.
Currently awaiting the video's public-going approval from the interviewees.
Subtitles will be added soon to the documentary video on YouTube. Editing
the videos wasn't as difficult to me as adding the subtitles. Dang!
Thanks for all your support and assistance.
Will love to also hear from and get in touch with our friends in
Kazakhstan.
