I used Firefox on my laptop.
Update: Tried accessing with Zero balance SIM (both Chrome and Firefox),
WIkipedia homepage is loaded once and that's all. You can't access any
other page or reload.

I personally don't see anything wrong with the invitation. He just sent an invitation to the community. I don't see it an agenda to promote his event. Removing him from the list will be an unfair judgement.
