From what I know, i think Ghana is getting ready to participate in the
WikilovesMonument event coming up this september.
I think its about time we plan on the prizes limits and other issues
such as the awards to present.
And who are going to be the jury, and based on what are they gonna
analyze submitted photos?
Help!

That's really nice to hear.
@kweku Dartey, kindly take it from there. As Ato suggested, you can
target the class initially before we can later on extend to the whole
organization.
We'll love to hear your feedback in activities relating to that.
@san How far with your article to Wikimedia Blog? You need any help?
@oral I'm glad you sent the message to Barbara. That's nice.
Good day to all.

Nice @ Kweku.
I didn't think of Ashesi before because I was really into Legon as per
their history department.
Did you mean Esi Ansah as dean? I think we should start with that
particular class and not with Ashesi as a whole though.
I am happy to talk to Patrick too.

Hi Dede and all,

Realistically, I will love to offer my services in the second
category of members (in fact the second option for all two

editing; that is 5 hours a week and the remaining 3 split evenly

Additionally, I would love to dedicate another 2 hours, each week,
towards content/ editorial development and resolving general

Now in response to earlier discussions on partnership prospects with
educational institutions, I happen to know the new dean of students
for Ashesi University who just happens to be a close friend. I could
talk to her about some prospects for engagement. My pitch will delve
into the amazing opportunity this will give Ashesi to nurture the
minds and knowledge base of wiki-readers on the Ghanaian situation
by providing content for the platform. I know they have a class of
some sort which reviews and discusses new trends and news in and out
of Ghana and how these affect the socio-economic growth of the
country as a whole. We could get them to transcribe their daily
discussions which we in turn can revert into solid content linked

The prospects are certainly endless and just a phone call away -
that is once the team agrees... In fact *Ato *can be a valuable

the University, Patrick Awuah.
Do revert your thoughts and comments...
I bid you all a most productive day.

Hi Dede and all,
Sorry this comes a late hour... Unfortunately, I no longer have access
to a phone with wassup so I will be missing in action on that front; at
least for a couple of weeks until I can get a proper replacement to my
phone. Again, I was busy over last week and the weekend with little
access to internet hence I could not response to this mail until now.
Realistically, I will love to offer my services in the second category
of members (in fact the second option for all two categories) and
guarantee a minimum of 8 hours a week towards editing; that is 5 hours a
week and the remaining 3 split evenly over the weekend. Editing is my
strongest suite hence my offer however my resolve comes with some
baselines the most prominent being; ideally, a 24 hour deadline for each
piece to allow for a more holistic output and presentation; I may
dedicate an hour of actual sit-down time to edit but I will definitely
spend more time interacting with piece before and after that hour prior
to rendering in the final piece.
Additionally, I would love to dedicate another 2 hours, each week,
towards content/ editorial development and resolving general community
issues. This brings my total weekly participation time to 10 hours a
week - for now.
Now in response to earlier discussions on partnership prospects with
educational institutions, I happen to know the new dean of students for
Ashesi University who just happens to be a close friend. I could talk to
her about some prospects for engagement. My pitch will delve into the
amazing opportunity this will give Ashesi to nurture the minds and
knowledge base of wiki-readers on the Ghanaian situation by providing
content for the platform. I know they have a class of some sort which
reviews and discusses new trends and news in and out of Ghana and how
these affect the socio-economic growth of the country as a whole. We
could get them to transcribe their daily discussions which we in turn
can revert into solid content linked with reputable sources...
The prospects are certainly endless and just a phone call away - that is
once the team agrees... In fact *Ato *can be a valuable resource here
since he has a good relationship with the President of the University,
Patrick Awuah.
Do revert your thoughts and comments...
I bid you all a most productive day.
Sincerely,
Kweku Darteh ANANE-APPIAH

About Me <http://nkansahrexford.webs.com/>
I just came across this website today called the Planet Wikimedia.
It takes in feeds from blog sites opted into its system manually and
displays them on en.planet.wikimedia.org
Its important one learns how to go about adding his or her blog and
contents tagged in a specific name e.g. #Wikimedia, will be taken and
displayed as the planet wikimedia system reloads all blogs ever 1 hour.
learn more here;

The Akan Wikipedia got a new entry today about President Atta Mills.
The article was written by Paa Kwesi, from the kasahorow.org team. Even
though I posted it online, its NOT my own article.

Read the article and help lets expand it
