Follow this link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:RecentChangesto a page known as "Recent Changes" if you don't know about it already.
It gives information of all the recent edits (relevant to you as an editor) on Wikipedia.
Aside SuggestBot this also helps you to find pages to edit/watch over pages etc.
There are more of these tools around. Just be curious about things you see on Wikipedia and you will find all sorts.

Thanks for the update, Sandi. At recent changes too, one can view edits made my new contributors. Its a good way to see upcoming articuls and help improve.

Thanks for clarifying but recent edits covers whatever Wikipedia calls an edit. Even creating a new article is still an edit. Your clarification is spot on but I simply called a spade a spade.
