Hi Wikemedians,
I wish to apply in order to attend the conference. I live in Accra. However I couldn't continue to apply because I do not have a passport information to enter. Meanwhile I have selected No as an option for the passport question. Thank you.
Phillip.

Dear Philips,
We understand this is likely to be a problem. Raphael and Felix, can your team configure the registration form in a way that travel document (passport) would not be compulsory? This is necessary since majority of the conference participants do not requires passport to enter Ghana. We will appreciate it if this is timely addressed.
Best,

Hi Olatunde,
Many of you will not require a visa to travel to Ghana, however a passport is compulsory for travelling into Ghana by air.
Unless you wish to travel by road which may require you to prove that you are a member of ECOWAS. However your suggestion will be useful for residents of Ghana.
Warm regards,

Thanks for the prompt response, Felix. Of course, anyone flying to Ghana will need a passport. In fact, to travel by road (if ever), one would need a passport or National ID.
I think, participants from Ghana can get in touch with your team directly rather than using the general application form.

No please they have to apply to attend the conference.
The criteria spelt out here http://2017.wikiindaba.net/index.php?title=Register applies to everybody, hence the need for prospective participants to apply. Scholarships will be awarded following the criteria against the available slots.
I hope this explains further.
