Felix requested for a tablet for editing due to his current work
circumstances.
I thought this is the opportunity to get the community to decide on how we
will use property loaned us by the Foundation for outreach.

So someone from Ghana here is still vandalizing Azonto, replacing the first
image of gallery with an image I guess is his own portrait (naked upper
body). Hmm..
Enock.
I have visited the talk page to add an opinion.
If Jimmy Wales and the editors listening in on the talk are interested in
our press release, they will say something for it or against it.
I have looked at the release. I have put written my version lol. Someone
look at it for comments. Enock your input is needed since you have followed
the story on the talk page.
PLANNING WIKIMEDIA GHANA REACTS TO GOVERNMENT’s STATEMENT ABOUT WIKIPEDIA
This is in response to a recent publication by
citifmonline.com<http://www.citifmonline.com/index.php?id=1.1657562>on
January 10th, 2014 about the Government of Ghana struggling to edit
information on the Wikipedia page for Ghana.
Planning Wikimedia Ghana <http://planningwikimediaghana.blogspot.com/> as a
group has been working for almost 3 years to encourage the use and
contribution of Ghanaian content to Wikipedia, and also how best to handle
inadequate information about topics.
Wikipedia is a wiki, meaning content is user generated thus vulnerable to
information changes which could be truthful or untruthful, biased or
objective.
To maintain order on the wiki then, editors do their best to retain
objective, encyclopaedic and sourced information. If these requirements are
met, then they can stay on the wiki. The information on Ghana's article
about corruption has been adequately sourced currently.
As Wikipedians, we are looking into the matter. Currently, Wikipedia has
put the article under some protection from unconfirmed users.
In response to: " Mahama Ayariga, says government is “figuring out
permanent arrangements” that can be put in place to monitor the website to
ensure that whatever information people put out there are accurate."
We would like to point out again that as WIkipedia is a wiki and "permanent
arrangements" can not be made to keep information static. But Planning
Wikimedia Ghana will organise an editing session to clean up the article.
We will also choose a member of our community to watch the article for a
untruthful and biased information.
<signature + our contacts etc>
Goodnight.

Good morning,
I'd like for us to finalise the PR for tomorrow.
Enock I think I saw in one of the emails that you submitted a release aside
what Oral wrote. I missed it. Link me asap so I can lift and add to the
current one which I have shared on drive
again<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1I8ALEGqcfZN5iy8pJTimxJtpwAL1cD0GM9j05uS…>
.
My version is not press release standard but I have tried to convey what
pertains to vandalism, wiki behaviour etc.
