Hi everyone,
At the recent edit-a-thon at SOMArts for "The Black Woman is God" art exhibition, an attendee asked me for help finding a Bay Area Wikipedia editor interested in improving articles about U.S. college and universities, such as adding neutral and verifiable information about graduation rates. Please reach out directly to Mr. Isaac using the contact information below if you're interested in this opportunity or have questions!
National non-profit higher education organization is seeking a Wikipedian
in Residence to supplement the wiki pages of colleges and universities. Data comes from the U.S. Department of Education’s National Center from Data Statistics, and other governmental, academic, financial and news sources.
Pay is $15 - $25 dollars per hour, depending on experience. Please
contact Mr. Isaac at: mrisaac.sfcc@gmail.com or (415) 827-6480.

In general, I wouldn't recommend sending resumes to someone who's using a generic email account such as Gmail. Information that's contained in resumes can be used to compromise privacy, and if follow-up communications lead to disclosure of information such as social security numbers to someone who isn't a genuine employer or who doesn't protect the information carefully then that creates a risk of identity theft. I would want to be able to verify that someone is genuinely an employer who is likely to be protective of others' sensitive information before sharing my resume with that person. It's possible that this person is genuine, but I consider the use of a Gmail account here to be a warning sign.
