Hi all,
I'm going to give a presentation in SF Rotary Club about Wiki(m|p)edia
and research in September. One of the reasons I do this kind of
presentation is to help raise awareness about the importance of and
the activities of Wikimedia communities and I would like to leave the
audience with a few concrete ways to engage with Wikimedia projects if
possible. If you're interested to provide input to me, I'm all ears.
Just let me know on this thread or even better in the Description of
https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T229272 under "Pointers to engage
with the community".
Some examples I've been thinking about:
* Let them know about this mailing list?
* Let them know about Wiki Loves Monuments, especially because the
event will be in September?
* Let them know about upcoming local community events?
Thanks,
Leila
