Nonprofit interested in finding a Wikipedian in Residence

Hi everyone, At the recent edit-a-thon at SOMArts for "The Black Woman is God" art exhibition, an attendee asked me for help finding a Bay Area Wikipedia editor interested in improving articles about U.S. college and universities, such as adding neutral and verifiable information about graduation rates. Please reach out directly to Mr. Isaac using the contact information below if you're interested in this opportunity or have questions! > National non-profit higher education organization is seeking a Wikipedian in Residence to supplement the wiki pages of colleges and universities. Data comes from the U.S. Department of Education’s National Center from Data Statistics, and other governmental, academic, financial and news sources. > Pay is $15 - $25 dollars per hour, depending on experience. Hi, everybody. Please stay where you are for an unSalon! We are taking July off! Please gather your thoughts for changes that you would like to see in the next 10 months and present them at our July 26 WikiSalon. Ordinarily, the last Wednesday evening of every month, wiki enthusiasts gather at the Bay Area WikiSalon series to collaborate, mingle, and learn about new projects and ideas. We normally allow time for informal conversation and working on articles. Newcomers and experienced wiki users are encouraged to attend. Mark your calendars now for Wednesday, July 26 at 6 p.m.! Sending along an invitation from Monica Westin: Please join organizers from SOMArts, the California Digital Library, and Art Practical in San Francisco on the afternoon of July 22nd for an edit-a-thon dedicated to increasing the visibility of women artists of color on Wikipedia. This edit-a-thon is produced in conjunction with "The Black Woman is God," the second iteration of a major group exhibition of Bay Area black women artists at SOMArts.
