This year California College of the Arts is partnering with Bay Area arts
publication Art Practical to offer an ANF edit-a-thon.
Our event is scheduled for Wednesday March 7, from 1:00-4:30pm in Simpson
Library on CCA’s SF campus. We are looking for a volunteer to provide an
introduction to Wikipedia editing.
Please email me you’re interested!

and I think you might enjoy it too, if you can make it:

Dear Bay Area Wikimedians:
We have two upcoming Bay Area Wiki Salon events this month!
First, the February Salon, coming up this Thursday 7 February, where we
will focus on Good Articles; and then a Wiki-a-thon (edit/upload-a-thon) at
the Prelinger Library, an appropriation-friendly collection 19th and 20th
century historical ephemera, periodicals, maps, and books not commonly
found in other public libraries, much of which is in the public domain.
See below for more information and links, and we hope to see/work with you
at one or both of these events!
If you want to give a lightning talk at the 7 February Salon, please get in
touch with the organizers via the Meetup page. If you plan to come to the
17 February Wiki-a-thon and are interested in helping Wiki newcomers get
started, please email me.
