Hey folks,
We're looking for someone to do full time office tech support
(desktop/laptop support, office network and backups, etc). We really
want the candidate to be a big open source wank too, willing to put in
the time to help transition users in the office to open source (OS and
apps) and keep 'em happy once they get there. The full job description
is here:

If you know someone who might fit the bill or you know of some list with
a bunch of office IT open source types lurking on it, please forward
this on. Thanks!

Heya, hope it's OK to post this here. I thought some of you might be
interested in the Freebase meetup that's happening on Wednesday.
If you don't know, Freebase is an open data project which is built
partly on Wikipedia data. The meetup will start around 6:30 with some
pizza and beer and then there will be a few short talks by Freebase
developers and then some general Q&A/hack/whatever time.
The location is Freebase HQ (aka Metaweb's offices) at 631 Howard St,
near Montgomery BART.
