I'm at Pebble Cafe across the street, I'll be there for the next hour or so.

Very Sad!! I didn't even see the emails either. It is a good thing Cary told me. But yes - I'd say all is off. I highly doubt anyone will be available next weekend (4th of July and all) and after that alot of people will be gone for Wikimania. So much for #6!
Related note: In case people didn't notice. I already created meetup #7 and put it for "August" in the vain hope that if we start talking about it now - we can get something planned and scheduled plenty in advance. Exact dates are unimportant this far out - but a finding a meeting space is key - as usual. Any suggestions are welcome. Maybe the library again - if we can guilt them into not canceling on us at the last minute.... Again.

It's too short notice to try to change location tomorrow. Maybe we should prospone the meet until next week, or something like that.

Be able to meet at this location tomorrow.
I know... I know...
I tried the local Recreation Center in Glen Park but they are booked and charge a fee.
Also it being Pride weekend as well I have been hearing a steady rush of conversation on the crowded public transportation issues starting tonight and going through sunday due to various celebrations, the parade and after parade celebrations especially with the recent passing of the Gay Marriage bill.
Your Thoughts? Suggestions?

Heya folks - Just reaching out to see if there is any interest in setting up a meeting for June at the Glen Park Branch Library. At this moment, the room is available for the following saturdays: June 21st and the 28th and July 12th. The room fits about 50 people. I'm assuming its a standard setup of a few long tables and chairs all around. I was thinking around 1pm start to around 4 pm finish?

Brion's up for giving a preview of his Wikimania presentation on the tech status of things.
The room is free so long as we don't need any special equipment or are planning a banquet. I'm still trying to get a hold of the local branch to see if its ok to bring a brown bag lunch without
