I moved here from NYC recently, and I was loosely involved with Wikimedia-NYC (they hosted the WikiConf this year). I'm interested in participating in a similar community of editors here in SF.
Is there already a regular meet-up?

We don't have regularly scheduled meet-ups, but we do organize events on this page (which could use some cleanup): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Meetup/San_Francisco
I may add something shortly about an edit-a-thon later this month, and I'll send an update to this list when it's up!

Hi Aimi! (And everyone!) I'm also a semi-recent NYC transplant. I've never really been in on the planning side of a Wikipedia event, just an editathon participant and occasional picnic-er, but I'd love to get more involved in the Wikimedia community here, and would be happy to help any way I can.
