I'm assembling the Maker Faire volunteer list. Reminder: If your name is not on the meetup page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Meetup/San_Francisco/Maker_Faire OR if you have only signed up with your wikiname and I do not know your real name, PLEASE email me with your name ASAP if you have not done so.
If you are signed up under Saturday or Sunday, but you think you might come both days, please let me know that too so I can put you on the "both days" list.
Also: we are short on Sunday volunteers, so please consider that if you can come either day!
I plan to send out a message at the end of this weekend with tips on getting to the Faire, etc.

Hey Phoebe, My Name is Fred Vassard (aZaFred on wiki). I am not sure yet when I will come, and will update the page accordingly once I get confirmation from my wife. Most likely I will come on Sunday, but it is possible I will come both days! I can definitely help with Tech issues, but as far as teaching people how to use Wikipedia, I am not sure how much help I can be ;)

Who has the plan for Friday Night setup?
Is the get in the front gate deal the same as later volunteers, or is there a list at the back entrance or what?

The plan for Friday goes something like this: I go to WMF HQ & pick up supplies then head to Maker Faire. Phoebe will also be in route. We'll setup, deploy the gear and that's about it. I don't think our setup will be all that major of an undertaking - As long as we have tables, network access & computers - everything should be a piece of cake.
The "doors" close at 8pm anyways.

Is gate CC the one in back, behind the expo?
The event map shows that as "Maker and Volunteer check-in". Is that the right place for people showing up on the weekend proper to go, versus the front gate? Or do we find that out tomorrow afternoon when we show up? 8-)
