Hello guys,
Everyday I see efforts of Ghanaians online especially those in the Barcamp- Blogging Ghana-PWMGH circles. Digital media agencies are springing up, journalism is growing online, tech hubs, startups, other events all concerning digital/online media etc are all making progress. The use of social media in our elections was notable as well. There is an existing and thriving network of of techies in Ghana and these are all things you know of already.
I think it's about time that a Wikipedia article on Digital/ Online Media in Ghana is created and maintained. Notable orgs., people, groups, projects and events all need to be archived on the wiki in that article. It will serve as a "one-stop" article that will include links to all the amazing work being done here.
Anyone interested in collaborating on this piece should let me know. If a meet up is necessary, we will have one.
Tech is now notable here and all notable phenomena usually have a page on Wikipedia that researchers can refer to. Let's collaborate on one for digital media in Ghana. Regards, Sandister Tei___________________________________________________
