Dear Madam, REQUEST TO START A WIKIMEDIA CLUB ON CAMPUS Ghana Institute of Journalism, is the Country’s premier Communication training Institute with a student population of three thousand five hundred and ninety four (3594). The institute offers degree programme in Journalism and Public Relations, as well as diploma in Communication studies. The Student Representative Council, humbly write to request to start a Wikimedia club on campus, to train interested students on how to create Wikipedia articles. How have Wikimedia clubs been run around the world? Is there central support from Wikimedia Foundation for such clubs?
Would be good to share best practices and info with these interested students so they are well informed

Sounds good but what I normally know is when there is WEP then it is very easy to coordinate since students and lecturers alike become part as well as with WEP there is an already laid down structure that the institution can easily adapt.

How have Wikimedia clubs been run around the world? Is there central support from Wikimedia Foundation for such clubs?
Would be good to share best practices and info with these interested students so they are well informed
