Hi,
I just translated the Wikipedia Android App into Akan here: Translate Wiki https://translatewiki.net/w/i.php?title=Special:Translate&group=out-wikimedia-mobile-wikipedia-android-strings&language=ak&filter=%21translated&action=translate
It needs review. If you're good in twi, you're good to review. I strictly went neither with Akuapem nor Fante nor Asante. I just translated to Akan. No 'foɔ' and those sort of things nor everything 'w' things like the Akuapem.
I hope we can stick to the way it is now. If you have time to review, do so. Thanks
Why not ask the kasahorow folks to see if they can help?

@Rberchie, I want us to stay neutral as to what dialect to use. Lets stick to one that wouldn't be biased towards to a particular dialect like the Asante.
We can use the asante, but that 'fo) fo)' thing, lets try to keep it out. and the akuapem 'w w' things, lets keep them out too.

I've translated some words previously to Ewe. I'll visit translate wiki soon.
Anyone knows how we can reach out to those who teach/read Ghanaian languages in the universities?

Yes. Ewes are invited. Just change the language in which you wanna translate to Ewe. Then baaam, proceed from there.
Reaching out to Ghanaian language universities teachers/readers? That's a good idea, but I have no *idea *how to get in touch with these ones. Maybe someone in here can assist.

+Enock,
Here's how to reach out to Ghanaian Language Dept/study centres: 1. Visit the department and talk to the few members you meet. Try to meet the HoD. 2. Send in an official request/letter. 3. Keep the convo alive.
UCC, UG got cool languages department. Agya Koo Nimo, the great Folklore Musician cum lecturer is a great resource from KNUST.
There are other local language study centers around you can contact.

+Enock,
Here's how to reach out to Ghanaian Language Dept/study centres:
- Visit the department and talk to the few members you meet. Try to meet
the HoD. 2. Send in an official request/letter. 3. Keep the convo alive.
UCC, UG got cool languages department. Agya Koo Nimo, the great Folklore Musician cum lecturer is a great resource from KNUST.
There are other local language study centers around you can contact.

I've translated some words previously to Ewe. I'll visit translate wiki soon.
Anyone knows how we can reach out to those who teach/read Ghanaian languages in the universities?
