there is no awards ceremony, the winner(s) will be announced. the first price awarded will be a trip to hong kong as far as i understood. as there are 100'000s of photos submitted, winning it might be a challenge.

but, of course there are other possibilities to go to hong kong, especially also for regular contributors from emerging wikipedia countries: http://wikimania2013.wikimedia.org/wiki/Scholarships
