Please community members holding events every now and then, please make an effort to tell the community what you are up to via the mailing list and also list it here https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Planning_Wikimedia_Ghana/_Events_%26_Projects so it can be included in reports.
This is not compulsory, however if your partners in the events think they are dealing with an entire group which is the Wikimedia Ghana UG, then I think it's fair you tell the group you are representing us somewhere.
Because yesterday, we were receiving tweets saying we were in Ashesi, when I have not seen any message in the mailing list saying we were on outreach in Ashesi.
Felix and Berchie you have been very active in projects. I have read that you have more schools on your list and have listed as program leaders for the Wikipedia Education Program. So if your partners are going to consider this as a 'Wikimedia Ghana thing' please shoot the mailing list an email and inform the social media person so we can retweet or repost etc and finally list it here https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Planning_Wikimedia_Ghana/_Events_%26_Projects .

I totally agree with what Sandister said.
It doesn't help the community when Wikipedia related projects are run in Ghana and at least this community is not involved. Especially when those running the projects are aware of this community.
In that stead, I would also encourage Justice and co to google around a bit for Wikipedia related events happening in Ghana to ensure this community is also aware of everything.
If we want to go far, we must go together.

Ato I try to find wikipedia related events and put them on our social media. I don't think it's everything I would be able to see but when there is a message dropped in the mailing list I could possible take it from there.
Thanks anyways try to be proactive from now onwards.

Ato, that first sentence should be a quote registered in your name, right? Let's just change 'Ghana' to 'World'
Let's share what we work on with the community more.
Indeed, if we want to go far, we must go together.

Hehe, well, on average, people in other countries tend to be more proactive in Ghana. Hence, I really like those those who are *proactive* in Ghana.
I should add that *reporting and communication* is another thing we generally have to do better in Ghana. If anyone is looking for an example, look at Sandister. Or just this awesome Google Doc https://docs.google.com/document/d/1uLVzinYqzVKtLgHU9_n-kuQjl7y4wd1U__mJ9TYhaYk/edit report she once sent.

Reporting is one Sandister's good at, and I personally tries to learn from.
On that note, will put in a short report on the session that happened at Barcamp Koforidua soon.
Great example!
