Hi everyone,
This year's Wikimania has ended, and it was worth being a part of it. Looking forward to next year's event in Mexico.
Two of the many highlights I wish to share with all are as follows:
- *Wikimedia Ghana User Group*: I spoke with Tanvir of the AfCom. He plans to forward our application to be a user group to the relevant chambers responsible, and hopefully we'll hear our stand, either we qualify, or need to work a little bit harder. - *Wikipedia Zero in Ghana*: Sadat (Massly) and I met with Adele of WMF. In short, we hope to realize one network in Ghana join the Wikipedia Zero Program, and make accessing Wikipedia via their network free. More info will flow as the details unfold.
In addition, I got lots of goodies like* Wikipedia stickers and badges*, thanks to the Wikimedia UK and other chapters that had their booths at the Community Village. If I am not able to exhaust all here, I'll definitely carry the rest to Big GH. Hold on tight for yours!
I also took videos to be used in the '*African Documentary*'. Updates of that will follow soon too.
Happy Editing
Thanks for updates, this sounds exciting.

Great work!
This talk of goodies makes me think about a next event for Wikimedians to meet and edit in Ghana. :-)
