Hello,
We need as many GH administrators as we can get. (If you don't know what a Wikipedian administrator is, please Google)
It seems some Ghana related articles which are important and notable by Wikipedia standards are still not seen that way by other admins. We need access to admin tools to make sure the quality of articles we are struggling to build is protected.
The criteria for selection is stated but has subtle unstated ones as well.
Kindly have a look at these pages, this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Requests_for_adminshipand thathttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Bureaucrats .
My wishes as the manager of this community are:
1. It is COMPULSORY to check out those who have been successful and unsuccessful in their applications. Note what was said about them in critique. Streamline your activities accordingly to stand a chance.
2. Try and get at least 1000 edits by December 2014. Not compulsory.
3. By Jan 2015, every member should have applied for adminship. COMPULSORY. That way, even if you are turned down, you'll receive feedback on what you haven't done well.
Unfortunately cultural contexts are different. Wikipedia tries to address all cultures and hence protectors of the wiki should reflect this diversity. If by now articles like Azonto which is a constant battleground for Nigerians and Ghanaians can't be given some stability, there's a problem. We need admins who can relate to these issues. Those admins can come from PWMGH.

Well said Sandister.
Have something to say about this later.

I personally have set the goal to become an admin before I leave Capetown. It doesn't depend on me alone. The community will determine. But its my goal for this year.
No admin in Africa? I think its a disadvantage
