WMF will be conducting research in Ghana between April 22 to May 3. The research focuses on movement organizers.
*Movement organizers* here mean those who organize activities, bring people together and form communities to teach others how to meaningfully contribute their knowledge to the Wikimedia projects and participate in the larger movement (whether as readers, editors, or allies).
The group's contact persons were asked to give names of people who fit specific descriptions and have served as organizers. We have submitted about 14 names.
An email will be sent to those WMF choose.
Dumisane of Monitoring & Evaluation/Affcom made the team aware of the different actors in the Ghanaian space. This list includes those who organize for Wikimedia Ghana only. This is to avoid any overlap.
I'll keep you updated.
All questions are welcome.
