In 2012, I think myself and sandister and a couple of other guys got the
chances to talk Wikimedia at Innovation Week at AITI1.
Slipped my mind to ask if there could be a slot for us this year too.
Anyone's got any ideas if there's still way we could be part of this year's
event?
It was great in 2012, and met lots. Perhaps we could be there this year too?

Great, I'll clear some hours on my calendar for those days. Concerning the Wikipedia clinic maybe u should share with us the details so we brainstorm.

To commemorate the day and to continue in the spirit of volunteerism Raphael and I will be hosting a Wikimedia Clinic at Software Freedom Day.
I will give a presentation on "Promoting Local Contents" during the key note sessions while Raphael handles the "Wikimedia Clinic" during the breakout sessions.

I missed last year's Barcamp Koforidua unfortunately, however this year,
I'm glad to be part, and I will be there to talk about the Wikimedia World,
share some of the work team members have been involved in, help those
interested to get started quickly, and hopefully, reach out to many people
with the Wiki 'gospel'.

Gennie is a researcher interested in the Open Internet, more specifically Net Neutrality and Zero Ratings. Her research promises to provide interesting insights concerning the use and extent of Internet.Org and Wikipedia Zero in Ghana. This would go a long way to answer some of the pertinent questions we’ve been asking about them.
Also, she and her team are touring the country to visit interesting places, and as you’d expect - they’ll be taking loads of pictures : ) which I promised we can help upload onto commons.

i plan to be at the koforidua jackson's park during the wlaf event as
there's cultural market at the grounds every thursday or so.
a variety of cultural stuff could be found there (you can search online for
idea), and I hope to be present to take one or two pictures.
if anyone is interested, you can join in planning when to go for the
photowalk there.
