Seth has made a good discovery. I am happy he is taking the initiative.
I think one thing I have forgotten to push here that worked for me when I
first joined is initiative. Go out there, and find things to do.
Sometimes I think discovering mistakes and coming to ask the group to edit
together is a waste of time. We should just go ahead and fix stuff. I have
done that with the Ghana article.
There is a "robot" called SuggestBot that posts articles that need your
help on your user talk page. Google it and install it if you haven't
already. Set it to Ghana related articles.
If you really want to advance in your editing, look it up to help you find
articles easily.
I think by the end of this year all of us should improve/create/nominate to
delete/different useful Wikipedia tasks on about 100 articles. SuggestBot
will help meet your target.

Sandister Tei

It's been a while I created a Wikipedia article so I went for the GMO
controversy. <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genetically_modified_organism_controversy_(Gh…>
Hopefully it will be allowed to stand alone and not merged with any other
international GMO discussion.
Nonetheless, I am inviting one of you to review it. Here is
how<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Reviewing>
.
I am also holding a hangout on how the whole process went down for new
editors. Email me if interested.

Hello,
Whatever changes you make on Wikipedia is recorded. If you want to view
these edits just to encourage yourself and so on, you can use this
tool<https://toolserver.org/~River/cgi-bin/count_edits>to check your
edits, specifically the ones on Wikipedia articles. Those are
currently the most important ones for PWMGH.

A more specific tool that you can use for following pages that have been
newly created can be found
here<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:NewPagesFeed>
.
You can set filters to help you focus on pages you'd want to see in your
feed. You can use that same function to follow me as a user: SandisterTei
for example and see which new pages I create and then you can review them.
The whole point is, you won't get bored with lack of articles to edit.
Throw any questions in and I believe anyone around who knows something
about it will answer you.

Sandister Tei

Hello,
Follow this link <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:RecentChanges>to a
page known as "Recent Changes" if you don't know about it already.
It gives information of all the recent edits (relevant to you as an editor)
on Wikipedia.
Aside SuggestBot this also helps you to find pages to edit/watch over pages
etc.
There are more of these tools around. Just be curious about things you see
on Wikipedia and you will find all sorts.

I mentioned that members should fill the form.
Ato, Rex, Oral, Enock, you don't need to fill unless you want to provide
some info missing.
Everyone else MUST fill it.
1. To register your interest in 2014 activities and mailing list
conversations.
2. To help me know who is listening /reached
3. To give me details for our profiles to be put online.

I have seen a userbox for members of Planning Wikimedia Ghana and I think
Enock created it. Enock could you share the name with us?
