Hallo!
I am going through https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Open_requests_for_new_languages , project by project, letter by letter, up to ten requests per email, one email per day.
I am now working on Wikipedia, and today I'm handling the letter O.
I took the liberty to delete one Wikipedia request in the letter O: * Oi, which was created by an anonymous user and had no content in the Incubator or substantial discussion.
== Oji-Cree == Request: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Requests_for_new_languages/Wikipedia_Oji-Cre... Code: ojs My take: I'm not sure how different it is from ojb, in which there is a pretty well-established Incubator. I'd ask an expert who knows the language before marking it as eligible. Probably "waiting" for now.
== Okanagan == Request: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Requests_for_new_languages/Wikipedia_Okanaga... Code: oka My take: Delete the request, which was created by a user who doesn't claim knowledge of the language and didn't produce any discussion. The language could be eligible—I'm not against serious revitalization projects. The activity in this language on Wikimedia doesn't seem very serious, however. All the content in the Incubator is created by two users, one of whom may know the language, but hasn't written anything since 2017, and the other doesn't claim knowledge of the language and only creates articles with titles taken from an online dictionary and no text, and the other. So I recommend deleting the request, as well as most of the no-content pages in the Incubator.
