Hi, I received a few requests to check the status of Western Balochi incubator (bgn). The code bgn is legit, the translation of most-used messages is complete, and the activity in the incubator is reasonable. A lot of pages are written; many are just one or two lines long, but I don't think that I mind. Incubator has a limited space for developing, we're gonna loose all incoming readers from google once wiki is created and articles are deleted locally, but defiantly there will be more users as it has a lot of speakers. We had a discussion about the eligibility in March, there was no conclusion, but so far nobody brought up problems either... though I'm still a bit wary because we already had a fair share of problems with such languages which are macrolanguages with Southern, Eastern, Northern etc. subdivisions. Hello One of outside scholar or research linguist of the Baloch language , Mr Azim Shahbakhsh want to verification Balochi language articles, he is a professor of Sistan and Balochistan university in Iran.

First, we need to agree among all LangCom members, that Western Balochi has reached the stage of verification. Second, we need to agree that Azim Shahbakhsh would be an acceptable person to do such verification. (For example, we would need to check that he isn't closely involved with the Western Balochi wikipedia already ...) I'm awaiting feedback from other LangCom members. You have our attention. Please note that recommendations of verifying scholars by proponents of a project in the incubator are highly suspicious to LangCom members as these cast doubt on the independence of the scholar thus proposed. Sending links to their online profiles will not help to dispel such doubts. You will have to wait until we have found an independent scholar of our own accord. Sorry! There are good reasons for these procedures.
