We've had a request for a Wikipedia in Atayal [en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atayal_language https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atayal_language], a Formosan language spoken in Taiwan [meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Requests_for_new_languages/Wikipedia_Atayal https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Requests_for_new_languages/Wikipedia_Atayal]. It has an ISO code [www-01.sil.org/iso639-3/documentation.asp?id=tay http://www-01.sil.org/iso639-3/documentation.asp?id=tay] and some 80,000 native speakers [www.ethnologue.com/language/tay https://www.ethnologue.com/language/tay].
Any reason not to mark it as eligible?
Regards, Antony
It also already has an Incubator with a bunch of pages [https://incubator.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:PrefixIndex/Wp/tay/ <incubator.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:PrefixIndex/Wp/tay/>].

In the absence of any objections, I've made Atayal eligible.
Best regards,
Antony
