Does anyone have a start date for the Catalan, Gujarati, Japanese, Malayalam, Marathi, Portugese, Sotho, Swahili, Ukrainian, Urdu, and Walloon wikis? I'm updating the Multilanguage list on ang.wikipedia.org, and would like to make the list complete.

Activity on the Gujarati Wikipedia really started at the end of July 2004.
