Hi everyone,
User Ryuch from Korean Wikipedia is visiting San Francisco this week.
I thought I'd organize a meetup in his honor. It will be a great
opportunity to meet a community member from Korea and to exchange
stories. Hope many of you can make it. Sorry about the late notice!
Please be sure to RSVP at:

Howdy folks,
A few of us are meeting up at 6pm tomorrow at Noisebridge, in the Mission,
to talk about all things wiki. We'll be greeting Mark Dilley, an awesome
Portland-based wiki guy who's on his way back from facilitating
RecentChangesCamp Canberra, in Australia -- and presumably full of great
wiki tales (especially relating to academia, I believe).
Other confirmed folks will be Eugene Kim, who recently facilitated
Wikimedia's strategic plan; Pete Kaminski (I think), a co-founder of
SocialText, and an all around people-connector; and myself. Plus, whatever
Noisebridge folks happen to stop by and want to talk wiki.
Noisebridge, if you don't know it, is a fantastic hacker space in the
Mission. Their web site is a wiki, their governance model is some sort of
do-ocracy, and it's a space that's always full of inquisitive and energetic
opensource-minded folk.
There's a signup page (which we've all been sort of ignoring) on their
wiki: https://www.noisebridge.net/wiki/Wiki_meetup
and a MeetingNotes page for building an agenda, if you're feeling all
organization-y: http://meetingwords.com/rccx-sf
Come join us :)
