Hi there again,
with the translation of the survey going strong, I think it's time to
translate one more thing (but it's the last one this year, I
promise!).
Just like last year, we have prepared a thank-you note that will be
sent out to all the participants, thanking them for their involvement
with Wiki Loves Monuments 2012 and inviting them to fill out the
survey. This time, it's based on Commons and uses the well-known
translation scheme; please have a look at
<https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Template:WLM_2012_thank_you/en>
and if you have a spare minute, please translate this short text into
your language.
To make things easier for you (and the participants), I've listed all
the languages on top of the page; just click the link and you should
be able to translate the text into the language of your choice;
however, please make sure to copy the <nowiki></nowiki> trick, as this
is what makes the header work.
Again, thanks in advance for your time, and please do not hesitate to
ask any questions that you might have!
PS With the survey, we only miss Afrikaans, the two Belarusian
ortographies, Hindi, the two Norwegian ortographies, and Slovak while
Luxembourgish, Malayalam, Swahili, Tamil and Telugu are still being
translated.

So,
One of the winning pictures in WLM-IL is this picture:
http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:2_%D7%9E%D7%A1%D7%92%D7%93_%D7%A1%D7…
The problem, we can't contact the users as there is no option "send
email"... meaning we can't notify him (or asking to get the file in a
better quality)..
According to the rules, a user without email cannot participate, but before
we ignore his winning, any idea or help tracking and contact him?

Hi there,
this is just to inform you that 6 additional messages have been added
to the Wiki Loves Monuments survey, and they too need to be translated
into your languages (currently: Czech, Danish, Estonian, Hebrew,
Malayalam, Romanian, Russian, Serbian (Latin script), Swedish,
Tagalog, Ukrainian, Italian and French).
You can have a look at the full translation statistics for the survey
at <https://translatewiki.net/w/i.php?title=Special:MessageGroupStats&language=…>.
Additionaly, the thank you message that we will be sending out to the
users has been translated only into the following languages:
Belarusian, Belarusian (Taraskievica ortography), Catalan, Czech,
Danish, English, Spanish, Estonian, French, Italian, Russian, Serbian
(Cyrillic script), Serbian (Latin script), Swedish and Tagalog). The
rest of the languages /do not/ have a translated version of the
message, and the users will have to use the English one.
I have received the full list of Wiki Loves Monuments 2012
participants today, and will start sending out the thank you message
tomorrow, October 26, at 15:00 (UTC). This is a hard deadline (because
we're already late), so please, please make sure to have the message
and the survey translated into your language by that time.
Thanks in advance,
