Hola Felipe, no puedo estar más de acuerdo con tu llamada a la concordia, pero también tengo que recordar que la lista de es.wikipedia es para discutir asuntos relacionados con es.wikipedia.
Si alguien que no un wikipedista (y cuyas aportaciones se han caracterizado por los malos modos, el vandalismo y la violación de la wikipetiqueta) quiere expresar su desacuerdo con algunas de las medidas tomadas para resolver un problema, también de acuerdo. Pero lo que está fuera de lugar es aprovechar tal expresión de desacuerdo para soltarnos una soflama que no viene a cuento sobre lo maravilloso que es su proyecto y lo malo que es el nuestro. ¡Cómo si nos importara por qué va o deja de ir a wikimanía! Si así quiere "buen rollete" entre ambos proyectos, no parece ser el camino.
Sólo espero que si en EL tienen un poco de cordura (que la hay puesto que conozco a varios participantes de ambos proyectos) indiquen a su amable administrador que se dedique a los asuntos de EL en vez de a ir incordiando a otros proyectos.

La verdad es que no me suelo pronunciar demasiado en estas cosas. Supongo que todo el mundo tendrá motivos para estar enfadado, decepcionado, ..., pero desde mi punto de vista (y es sólo eso, un punto de vista) creo que las guerras dialécticas entre unos y otros no arreglan nada. Me alegra ver que en España, por el motivo que sea, hay dos proyectos de enciclopedias libres totalmente activos, pero lo que no me gusta tanto es ver que entre ambos proyectos no hay cordialidad. Creo que ambos son muy legítimos y que honestamente, ambos funcionan muy bien (aunque yo sólo sea un merodeador que echa un vistazo como usuario no registrado de vez en cuando). Si mi consejo sirve para algo, le diría al administrador de la wikipedia (ecemaml @ es.wikipedia) que no hay motivos para sentirse mal por el correo de Asmarín, si se pudiera alejar ese resquemor, se podría ver una especie de consejo de cómo llevar la administración de es-wikipedia (estar de acuerdo con ese punto de vista o no es otra cosa), aunque también estoy de acuerdo en que Asmarín debería cambiar un poco su tono en los mails para no avivar ese "resquemor". Todos forman parte de una iniciativa libre sobre software libre, no creo que sea tan complicado símplemente tener un clima de cordialidad, ¿no?
Con el asunto de Gibraltarian y de todos aquellos "vándalos" que pueden tener en sus enciclopedias, es complicado manejarlos. Es tan complicado como manejar a delincuentes, ya que cada uno es un mundo. Creo que se les debe dar un toque de atención para que vuelvan a la cordura (creo que al usuario mencionado se le dio), pero si no recapacita, pues en vez de incluir sus opiniones, se deberían tomar medidas más drásticas. El trabajo de un bibliotecario no tiene que ser siempre revertir los cambios de un usuario malintencionado, aunque como digo, no sé cuales son esas "medidas más drásticas".
De todos modos, me gustaría felicitar tanto al personal de es-wikipedia como al de EL, ya que todos luchan por lo mismo (y francamente, lo hacen bastante bien, aunque entre ellos no sepan reconocerlo ;) ).
