la comunidad consideró adecuado el desarrollo de la actual política
mediante la creación de una convención que estableciera unos parámetros
genéricos, bajo la que se podrían crear posteriormente convenciones
específicas que cubrieran grandes áreas temáticas.

Hola,
estamos organizando dos encuentros de Wikipedistas para finales de mayo. Los encuentros son para personas vinculadas a Wikipedia, el movimiento Wikimedia y el conocimiento libre.
El primer encuentro, más íntimo debido a la poca capacidad del lugar, se va a celebrar la tarde del día 19 de mayo (domingo) en Valladolid. La información del mismo se encuentra en esta página de la misma Wikipedia:

Este sitio tiene más capacidad y la intención es reunir en valencia a todos aquellos interesados, usuarios, curiosos o simpatizantes de los proyectos Wikimedia y del conocimiento libre en general. Hablar de los proyectos en los que cada uno está trabajando, crear vínculos para posibles colaboraciones, hablar de proyectos dentro y fuera de la red, y conocernos y todo aquello que surja.
