I agree with your suggestion.
Given the nature of this project, I agree with soft closure. I don't see any reason to close the wiki completely, and I think it's better to give them an easy option when their community needs the project.

I don't really know what to do with this one. It does not fulfill the criteria for closing a project, as the reasons all boil down to "inactivity", but there is no absence of content since the wiki's creation.
