Thanks.
So, it doesn't really make sense to respond to a message on change to eligible status (like many initiated by Milos recently) just to express consent. We should only respond if we have objections or questions.

7 days from proposing something (like eligibility) on this mailing list.
You are right about the rest. Deciding about the eligibility and deciding about the "final approval" are two different things.

7 days from what? If I understand correctly: Just because a proposal has been marked "eligible" doesn't mean that it has been approved (but it is then active on the incubator). Eligible are any proposals where the language has an ISO code. Then we have to check whether requirements like translations, existence of a community and regular editing are met. Then we find an expert to verify the language under review. Only after positive verification do we recommend the shift from incubator to their own wikipedia page. Or have I missed something? 7 days. By the way, the period for the proposals to the Board *was* also 7 days - before it was changed to "informing the community via meta:Talk:Langcom" (still 7 days). 2017-01-25 21:50 GMT+01:00 Milos Rancic <millosh@gmail.com <mailto:millosh@gmail.com>>: On Wed, Jan 25, 2017 at 9:44 PM, Gerard Meijssen <gerard.meijssen@gmail.com <mailto:gerard.meijssen@gmail.com>> wrote: > The two week period is for when we inform the board that we have come to a > conclusion and that they may object within the two week time frame. What is our *internal* period after which the proposal becomes the decision if no one objects? _______________________________________________ Langcom mailing list Langcom@lists.wikimedia.org <mailto:Langcom@lists.wikimedia.org> https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/langcom <https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/langcom> _______________________________________________ Langcom mailing list Langcom@lists.wikimedia.org <mailto:Langcom@lists.wikimedia.org> https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/langcom <https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/langcom>
