Hello all,
I was wondering, I think I heard a while back about making months, days, and the date format wikitext to be editable per wiki. Am I right, or just imagining this? Also, how do I get a bot for the Anglo-Saxon wiki?
Thanks,
James
Regarding the first, I do not know. But the second:
The bot can be downloaded at
http://sourceforge.net/projects/pywikipediabot/ or http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/pywikipediabot/pywikipedia/.
The first is a single download, the second a number of them, but the second is up-to-date whereas the first one is not. I'll try to upload a new version on the first, but I'm not giving promises.
Apart from the bot, you will need Python, which can be downloaded at http://www.python.org/download/
I'm available for any further questions regarding the bot.

I actually went to the system messages, and the month/day names are editable. About the bot, I was hoping to do a bot to make basic articles about cities in England and America (Þéos burg is in Englalande, asf.), then edit the articles after it finishes. I thought I read somewhere about someone doing that for other wikis.
