Along with the table, the text is often greatly expanded for each convertion. Would that make it into the print version pretty much as-is?

I see what you're asking, and I guess the real answer right now is 'I don't know'.
Some people have raised the question -- 'Is Wikipedia 1.0 the same thing as Paper Wikipedia?' Well, I think it should be, but I know that's a proposition that needs some defense.
One of my defenses for that proposition is just that "1.0 is just 1.0". Maybe later we'll have 2.0p and 2.0e, but I'd like to keep the 'push for 1.0' simple and straightforward. A single goal, a simple goal.
